Boat Lift Policy for Owners and Operators
To lift a boat from Port Charlottetown property to the water, boat owners and operators are required to abide by the following guidelines:
- a boat lift fee of $250.00 applies to all bookings, payable to Charlottetown Harbour Authority Inc.
- If any damage is sustained to the Port Charlottetown property during the boat lift, the owner or crane operator must take responsibility for repairing or replacing the damaged property. It is important to note that Port Charlottetown is not liable for any damages.
- It is mandatory for all individuals who are involved in the boat lift to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety reasons.
- Additionally, boat lifts must be scheduled in advance with the Terminal Operations Manager, and bookings should be made during regular business hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Requests can be sent to nicole@portcharlottetown.com or by phone at 902-626-6033 However, please be advised that scheduling is subject to change due to commercial activities at Port Charlottetown.
- Lastly, you must submit the form below with payment before any work is done. Boat owners and operators must follow these policies to ensure adherence to Port Charlottetown regulations and guarantee safety. Should there be any concerns or inquiries, it is recommended to directly contact the Terminal Operations Manager or the Port Charlottetown authorities for further information.
